Class

Hello fellas. How you gals doing? You folks must have noticed that it took me so long to post another kakikayan in this blog. Well, simply because I'm in a class that has something to do with food and it started last May 21. We can wear make-up of course but very light. Kitchen is hot and speedy so I prefer not to wear any make-up. We're at the kitchen everyday making breads using our own hands. We rarely use a machine. My class starts at 8 until 4 in the afternoon. Once I'm back home, I'm dead and take the time to take a short nappy before going to work in the evening. That's how my dail routine is for the moment and until July. Yes, it's very tiring but I find this field very accomplishing. We'll surely post something in the next days so no worries :-*

I Love Riri

You hear it right fellas. Riri Woo is my new favorite red lipstick or let's say, my number 1 fave. I have 3 favorite red lipsticks now from Mac :-). I was hesitant to order it at first when I got the VIP email from Mac because of my limited budget for this month. But then, for mother's day, I said 18€ won't be that much and honestly, I am so happy and glad that I get it. Hmmm how shall I say this, Riri has this dry effect after applying it on your lips. Just the effect ok but it's very comfortable on your lips + sexy. I wore it yesterday while going for a tour at the center and many turned their heads at me and one woman even dare to asked me where I got my lipstick.

My Favorite Lip Colors

Hi everyone, it's freakin' cold here still in my area. Sun is still shy for spring. In some areas, it's snowing and would you believe that for spring? Unbelievable. I can't wait for the sunshine to come out and be able to wear heels and colorful outfits especially floral one's. For the mean time, just have a patience and have an eye of my favorite lip colors that I always use. I love red lipstick especially when I don't wear any eyeshadows but mostly of the time, I go for nude lip color either from Mac, The Body Shop or Lancome.

Spring Look

It's spring time! Oh yeah and it's time to party!!! No, just kidding fellas. I'm just so happy to see the sun and to be able to have a drink at the terrace. It feels so good and seeing Mr. Sunshine encourages me more. Since spring is here, that would definitely mean floral and pastel colors. So yes, I'll be posting "My outfit of the day" photos once again so watch out for it. 

For the mean time, here's a photo of my spring make-up yesterday. It feels strange to be wearing false lashes again. After a month and half of not wearing any false lashes, yesterday felt like I was a beginner in applying it coz it really look me so long :-). I'm posting my before and after pic too. I like to wrap my hair with towel when I do my make-up.

Kinda Sexy

This is one of my favorite nude shade. I just love it!  It's a lil bit creamy on the lips and looks so natural. My friends always ask me where I got it and the name of the shade and how much it cost :-). In this shot, I was in the mood for winged eyeliner and this was my look. I used Soar lipliner which is perfect also for nude shades.

Russian Red

 

Bought 2 more lipstick yesterday right after lunch with a lady friend. I was fortunate enough coz this Russian Red shade at MAC was the last one. The last time I went at this store (we only have 1 MAC store here in Bordeaux), this shade was already sold out as well as the concealer palette that I'm dying to have. Same thing, all the concealer palettes were sold out also so I have to wait 3 weeks  again. Anyway, I was just so happy when I found out that they still have that Russian Red coz I really dream of having it. What can I say? It's the sexy red for me (in my own opinion). For red shade, my favorites would be Russian Red and Ruby Woo. What do you gals think of this shade?

That nude color at the right side is Kinda Sexy. Will post an entry about it in the next couple of days.

Red Always Shines Out

I love red lipstick these past weeks. Hubby is quite sensitive about it and I don't really care. I am the one who wears it and not him lolz. Red lipstick for me signifies strong. Not so many women has the courage to wear red lippies outside with heads up. Mostly prefer nude and pinkish colors and for me, with moderation, red lippies will always shine out. You know what I mean? 

 

Here's the newest one I got from Mac. It's Mac Red Satin. It has a creamy effect so I don't need to apply a gloss after. I'm loving MAC after that bad experience I had at Marionnaud store from their salesclerk who insulted me at my back, thinking that I didn't hear her. MAC always has number 1 customer service, their products are worth every single penny you spend and everything is simply top.

I know. Eye makeup takes a lot of time. I have observed that too and I'm telling you, this one is really fast and easy. I only used Mac Dipdown Fluidline here at my crease line and brushed it off going to the lid and above the crease. I used a blending brush above the crease. A highlighter at the tearduct, then finished it off by lining my upper lash line with liquid eye liner and eyeliner pencil in my lower lash line and then mascara. That's how easy it is.

I'm in the make-up mode if you gals noticed that. when I don't feel good or if something bothers me, my palettes and brushes keep me occupied. It makes me discover the art of these different color palettes and how magnificent they are whether it's branded or not. Anyway, here's my look this afternoon. Sunday is always a lazy day for me so I only had my foundation on and add more time in applying lipstick. To finish this look, I applied a lip gloss but I can't remember where I got it and the brand name is no longer visible.

Naked Palette 1 + Nude Lips

Yehhaaaa! I'm back in my kikay world :-). I've been playing my make-up palettes these last days and the false lashes I got in Cebu (Ayala Mall). If you gals noticed, I love false lashes and it's one of my must-haves. I got it for 98 pesos each (almost 2€/box). Cheap right? I'm happy coz these false lashes are really fine and it looks natural when I wear them. I have to apply 3 or 4 coats of mascara just to make it darker :-). Aside from that, it feels so light.

Ok anyway, this was my look yesterday. I was using my Urban Decay Naked Palette 1. This palette is perfect for women out there who loves nude look. For my lips, I use Mac Myth and Soar liner. I go gaga with nude lips now.
